¡Saludos desde fish & chips land! Si viste nuestro último vídeo, sabrás que hemos venido a pasar unas semanas en Inglaterra y os preguntamos que tipo de contenido queríais que publicaramos mientras estabamos aquí.
La respuesta fue más que contundente:
“Get out in the streets! We want to listen to the native speakers!”
¡Pues dicho y hecho! El equipo de Amigos Ingleses salió a las calles de Hitchin, una pequeña localidad al norte de Londres dónde vive el padre de Phillip y preguntamos a los nativos por sus palabras favoritas en inglés.
¡Tan tan ‘accomplished’ que hasta hemos salido en la portada del periódico de Hitchin!
Las respuestas fueron de los más variadas, desde ‘literature’ hasta ‘bacon’.
¿Cuál es la palabra favorita de los ingleses? ¡Dentro vídeo!
No nos quedaron demasiado claras las preferencias lingüisticas de los ingleses, pero quedó más que demostarado que en este pueblo derrochan sentido del humor inglés por los cuatro costados.

Hi ! From Chile ! Our top word is “Seco” in English “Dry” ! It means …. cool, fantastic, awesome, seco ! Or…. “dry” 😝

aprovechando la expresión “abso bloody lutely” podrian explicarme el uso de “Bloody” en ingles británico, pues no termino de entender si tiene un uso informal u ofensivo. Es un adjetivo? Muchas Gracias por su ayuda y los felicito por ese video tan excelente!
Hola Mariella, abso-bloody-lutely es una forma de decir ‘absolutely’, pero es muy informal. ‘Bloody’ puede significar sangriento, pero tambien maldito, jodido 😀 Ya te digo es muy muy informal. Por ejemplo podrías decir: where’s my bloody phone charger? Un besazo!
