Whoop whoop! Let’s get started!
5 errores comunes en inglés
1. ¡Silencio! Los estudiantes están muy concentrados.
Incorrecto | Silence! The students are very concentrated.
Correcto | Silence the students are very focused / are concentrating.
💂♂️ But why?
Debes usar la preposición ‘on’.
Mira este ejemplo:
“I can’t concentrate on my work with all that noise going on!”
2. Es un curso de 3 semanas.
Incorrecto | It’s a 3 weeks course.
Correcto | It’s a three -week course.
💂♂️ But why?
Ouch! I didn’t see that coming!
“It’s a two-hour flight to Paris.”
“It’s a 10-minute walk to the beach.”
Incorrecto | I’m Isabel, I’m calling in regards to your job offer.
Correcto | This is Isabel, I’m calling in regards to your job offer.
💂♂️ But why?
- Formal: “Good morning, this is Isabel.”
- Informal: “Hi, it’s Isabel.”
- Muy informal: “Hey it’s me!”
Incorrecto | I wish everything goes well with your exam.
Correcto | I hope everything goes well with your exam.
💂♂️ But why?
- “I hope the flight’s not delayed.”
- “I really hope I get that promotion, I’ve worked hard for it.”
- “I hope they have some food in the fridge when we arrive.”
‘Wish’ es para los soñadores:
- “I wish I could be a famous opera singer.”
- “I wish pizza didn’t make you fat.”
- “I wish I could speak English like Phillip.”
Piece of cake! 👉 I wish = deseo / I hope = espero.
5. Estoy oficialmente de vacaciones.
Incorrecto | I’m officially on holidays!
Correcto | I’m officially on holiday!
💂♂️ But why?
- “How was your holiday?”
- “I’m going on holiday tomorrow.”
- “I think you need a holiday darling!”
- “They’re going to Japan for their holiday/s.” Ambas son válidas.
- “Happy Holidays!”
- “That agency offers really cheap holidays in Mexico.”
- “Are there any bank holidays in November?”
And that’s a wrap! That’s all for now folks!
Yay! Here you go!
He’s such a nosy man!

And with the woman, Janice R., I spoke about my job, why I want to improve my English, my hopes…

Hi Emma, thanks for your comment! You can participate until this Sunday so hurry hurry!! Un abrazo fuerte! 🤗 💪
When you are introducing yourself on the phone you have to say, it’s Isabel or this is Isabel, but when you are in a group and you have to introduce a third person to the rest you say, it’s Philip, this is Philip or he is Philip?. Thanks
¡Hola Silvia! Muy buena pregunta, si estás presentando a una tercera persona, entonces usas “This is”
“This is my friend Claudia.”
“Hey everyone this is my brother Ryan.”
¡Un abrazo!

Hello Amigos Ingleses
Thank for your help!!
I wish learning English
I try very hard every day!!
I am glad to have met you!!
Blessings to both!!!🥰
Hello Melina! Suena más natural decir por ejemplo: “I hope to learn English with you this year.”
🙂
I am new in your channel. Enjoying it so much! I am currently living in London, but I am from Colombia.
Hola Carolina, welcome! We’re happy to have you with us! Enjoy London! 😉👍
